the headlights in the dart are 9012. and i have not tried to remove them yet

I always downshift when I'm near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment!

ok first go in the inner wing ... you will see a trap ... get it offf ... after that you will be able to get off the othertrap of the headlight ... and then you will be able to get off the bulb !

access the headlight bulb from the wheel well. there is an access panel to remove.
turn wheel all the way to one side to get easier access.

9012 is the same as a 9006

headlight uses 9006
fog light uses h11
turn signal / parking light use 7440 or 7443 dual color LED . WIll require load reistors etc., I have made another post on that.

if going with HIDS.
you want canbus HIDS. you can contact this guy thats where i bought mine. SPecial balasts made for european cars louis from best hids 1786-356-8880 cost more than normal balasts but work....

the balast i am talking about has 1 blue box attached to the harness that connects to the oem harness wires. maybe that can help discribe. plus the bulb colors with this company are what they should be not 8k that is more like 14k on some other coes.

i bought 6k's perfect white and match led turn signals.

without these balast you will have 1 or 2 issues or both.
1 bulb out warnings.
2 hids that dont come on from time to time.

these balasts work with oem wiring and BCM do not require relays.

nyinstaller to the rescue. there are many HID kits that are canbus error free. You just need to make sure the one you buy is.

I didn't know the Dart required it. Thought it took any HID kit.

if you get cheap ebay kits, you will get bulb out warnings.
and normally you can add relays, but most relays dont have the proper resistance accross the possitive and negative pole to trick the system to thing all is well.

The problem is the BCM is programed fiat style which shares characteristics with Euopean concepts. ie bmw mercades.
